Content Developer / Associate

Tulsa, Oklahoma, United States | Full-time | COVID-19 remote


Associates are focused primarily on support activities and assistance related to client proposals and deliverables. The Associates role requires the ability to research critical information and apply outside-the-box problem solving by combining excellent technical and analytical skills. High-quality analysis and recommendations are provided to Consultants and Senior Consultants who work directly with our clients. Associates work across various industries and functional areas which provides ample opportunity to gain the necessary knowledge and experience to move to the next level.


The Associate role may include, but is not limited to, the following tasks and expectations:

Internal/External Client Support

  • Support project teams with their projects and needs, i.e. presentation creation, document editing, research, scribing.
  • Research topics for presentations, training and create content based on research, as needed.
  • Create designs, concepts, and sample layouts for presentations, workbooks, and reports based on knowledge of layout principles and aesthetic design concepts.
  • Strongly preferred to have Creative Cloud/Design experience (InDesign, Photoshop).
  • Strongly preferred to have demonstrated graphic design instincts
  • Gather and research topics from team members and/or leadership and provide recommendations based on information gathered.
  • Maintain and develop positive business relationships with customer’s key personnel during project activity, training events, presentation engagements, and other networking events under discretion of Senior team member.
  • Support TPG with its internal projects and needs, i.e. marketing, website, IT, newsletter.
  • Record key concepts and findings during meetings, workshops, trainings, and general events.
  • Plan, prepare, and maintain logistics for training events.
  • Assist in writing reports, copy, and/or project proposals. Evaluate documents for grammatical and conceptual improvements.

Additional Expectations

  • While this role may serve some support function, Associates often work independently and must use discretion as to what is best for TPG. Associates may have jurisdiction over a certain area within The Persimmon Group (IT, Content Development, Marketing, Client Projects, etc…) with little oversight.
  • Learn, understand and adapt to TPG culture and work styles of all TPG staff.
  • Ability to effectively multi-task duties, communicate needs, and handle changing priorities/workload.
  • Seek direction from Managing Consultant for prioritization and additional work.
  • Seek personal growth and development opportunities on own and seek recommendations/mentoring from Managing Consultant.
  • Be able to show measurable results from work activities.
